| Built by Jack Savage in Victoria 1932 and designed by A.C Barber (1887-1960)in 1929 this is a classic day racer/cruiser in good condition. She is constructed of Huon Pine on Spotted Gum Frames and with a deckhouse finished in Red Cedar.She has a good sail wardrobe incl a self-furler. The standing rigging was replaced in 2001. In 1988 she was completely professionally refurbished. Last year the exterior varnished timber was redone.The exterior of the hull was repainted in Dec 2008 and she was antifouled at the same time.
The hull is sound - some sister ribs have been replaced. The deck is solid. There is sleeping for 2. She does not have a toilet. She is an excellent club racer and is a fast cruiser.
She can easily be sailed single-handed. Powered by a late model outboard. She is a very pretty yacht which points high and is a lot of fun to sail. She has fully documented history going back to the original owner. This is a fine yacht which is well-maintained. The exterior of the hull was repainted in Dec 2008 and she was antifouled at the same time. She is listed by the Sydney Maritime Museum as being part of the Australian Heritage Fleet.
